Anne G. Strojny nee Gerberi, age 87, passed peacefully at home surrounded by loving family on April 25, 2017. Anne is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Thaddeus. She was the devoted mother of Catherine, Thaddeus, Julie (Nick) Koch and Michael (Jennifer). Proud grandmother of Jaime, Daniella, Mia, Andrew, Stevan, Benjamin, A.J., Samantha, Matthew, and Lauren. Anne is survived by her sister Mary Silkowski and sisters-in-law Gloria Strojny, Dolores Zaner, and Eleanor Gerberi along with many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Anna Gerberi, and three brothers, John, Michael, and John Gerberi. Anne was a faithful member of Holy Ghost Parish and worked with many charitable organizations. Anne was loved by all who knew her and will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Lying-in-state Friday, May 5, 2017, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10:00 a.m. directly at Holy Ghost Church, 700 E. 170th St., South Holland, IL, 60473.
