Antoinette R. Tomasi went to be with the Lord on October 24, 2020 at 10:35 am. Antoinette peacefully passed away at the wonderful age of 103. Antoinette, mostly known as "Noni" was born on September 06, 1917 in Ledwidge, Arkansas. Antoinette married Silvestro Tomasi on July 9, 1937. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and homemaker to her two children, Juliana Felts and Anthony Tomasi. Antoinette loved to have a garden and always ate fresh vegetables that she grew herself. Probably why she lived a long and healthy life. She was known for her wonderful homemade pizza and peppers. Oh how I can still smell the aroma of her apartment. For the past 10 years Antoinette lived in Sacramento, Ca where her wonderful daughter and granddaughter lovingly cared for her. Prior to that, she resided in Dolton. Antoinette was preceded in death by her husband Silvestro Tomasi, son Anthony Tomasi, grandson Leslie Felts, sister Lena and her two brothers Johnny & Gabe. She is survived by her daughter Juliana Felts, Grandchildren Sondra Childers, Tony Tomasi, Sherry Gauthier, Michelle Williams, Reno Tomasi and Brian Tomasi, 20 Great-Grandchildren & 19 Great Great-Grandchildren. Visitation Wednesday, November 4, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. at Thornridge Funeral Home (Janusz Family Funeral Service), 15801 S. Cottage Grove Ave., four blocks North of 162nd St. (Rte. 6) Dolton/South Holland. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
