Brenda came out of the darkness into the light of the real world on January 27, 1979 when she was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. She loved Jehovah as well as his laws and principles. She served as a regular pioneer for over 25 years. She married Tommie Watkins on December 7, 1983, and together they served Jehovah as husband and wife for 36 years.

Brenda fell asleep in death after a long period of multiple health issues which gradually lead to her death on March 11, 2020.

Brenda loved road trips with Tommie; they went everywhere together. She also loved singing, sitting on the lake observing and appreciating Jehovah's creation, cooking, and the field ministry.

Brenda leaves behind her beloved husband Tommie, her one and only sister Linda, 3 children Juanita, Andre, and David, and 2 grand-children Marnay and Marvin Jr. Brenda was truly loved and will be deeply missed.
