Brian G. Atkinson, age 57, late of Thornton. Beloved husband of Kimberly nee Brooks. Loving and proud father of Richard. Dear brother of James (Nicolette), Thomas (Linda), Christopher (Judy) and the late Patrick. Kind son of the late Michael and Florence. Former owner of Candyland in Munster and known as the "Candyman", Brian was an avid collector of toy trains, a history buff, an amazing cook, and a lover of music. He was known to turn any conversation into a song. Brian was a former parishioner of St. Jude the Apostle Church and will be missed by all who knew him.
