Christine M. Longhi nee Purpura, age 85, late of Cape Canaveral, Fl. formerly of Thornton. Beloved wife of the late Anthony. Devoted mother of Janet (Steve Baggett), Richard (Laura), Thomas (Kelly) and James (Maria) Longhi. Proud grandmother of James, Nicole, Kyle, Emily (Bryan), Evan, Elle, the late Kori and Neil. Delighted great-grandmother of Liam and Lyla. Loving sister of the late Frank (Barbara) Purpura. Kind aunt of many nieces and nephews. Christine graduated from the University of Illinois Nursing School and worked nearly fifty years as a surgical nurse.
