Clara J. Markowski (née Baumhardt), age 86, late of South Holland. Beloved wife of John Markowski Sr.; devoted mother of Janice Campbell, John Markowski Jr., and David Markowski; proud grandmother of Jennifer (Phillip) Campbell-Grant, Joey Campbell, Jack Campbell, Megan Markowski, Katie (Taylor) Justice, and Amy Markowski; loving great-grandmother of Emilia, Georgia, and Wesley; dear sister of Earl (late Anna) Baumhardt Jr.; preceded in death by her parents Earl and Stella; kind sister-in-law of Louise Carrillo, the late Joan (late John) Squyres, late Bernice (late Charles) Cox, and late Geraldine (late Edward) Starcevich; fond aunt to many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Lovingly cared for by her dear friend and neighbor Anne Marie Ciccone.

Clara was a stay at home wife and mother and loved it. She loved being called Mom and Grandma. She was a member of Holy Ghost Parish in South Holland, and the Holy Ghost Women's Guild.

Visitation Sunday, from 2:00 - 8:00 PM. Funeral Monday, 10:45 AM, from Thornridge Funeral Home (Janusz Family Funeral Service), 15801 S. Cottage Grove Ave., four blocks North of 162nd St. (Rte. 6) Dolton / South Holland, to Christ Our Savior Church Mass, 11:30 AM.
