On Sunday July 4, 2021, Consuelo Fernandez of Margate, Florida, passed away peacefully with her children by her side, she was 91. Born in Sayula, Jalisco, Mexico and formerly of Chicago, Illinois, Consuelo is the beloved wife of the late Miguel Fernandez and loving mother of Sergio Calleros (Carmen), Jose Fernandez (the late Bernarda), Miguel Fernandez (Barbara), Elvia Fernandez and Consuelo Urquhart (the late Guy). Sister of Jose Luis Novoa (Lilia), Amparo Nunez (the late Froylan), the late Javier Novoa and the late Aurelio Novoa. She is the grandmother of Sergio (Megan), the late Carolina, Jesus Emmanuel (Amber), Jose Jr., Gabriela, Alejandro, Guyoni Miguel, Mariah and Tatiana and great grandmother of Dominic, Drew, Dylan, Aliza and Archer. She is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and many dear friends . Memorial Visitation S aturday, July 31st from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service 10:00 a.m. at Thornridge Funeral Home (Janusz Family Funeral Service),  15801 S. Cottage Grove Ave., four blocks North of 162nd Street (Rte 6), Dolton / South Holland. Inurnment Holy Cross Cemetery.
