Daniel P. Wojciechowski, age 80, late of Lansing, formerly of Dolton and South Chicago. Beloved husband and best friend of Carolyn (née Rakowski) for 54 years; devoted father of Gary (Keli) and Mark (Dawn) Wojciechowski; proud grandfather of Emily (Jacob), Creed, and Alec (Sierra); dear cousin and friend of many. Dan and Carol enjoyed ballroom dancing, gardening, traveling, and spending time with their family. After Dan retired from Federated/Union Beverage with over 30 years of dedicated service, he worked at Thornridge Funeral Home for many years as a wake duty attendant and funeral assistant. He also volunteered for the Hospice of the Calumet Area for 15 years. Lying-in-State Friday, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m., at Christ Our Savior Parish at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 880 E. 154th Street, South Holland. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice of the Calumet Area or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
