Beloved son of the late Joseph and Ann nee Farcau; loving brother of Dan (Joy) Sako and the late Joseph (Patricia) Sako; kind uncle of Autumn (Timothy) Zarlengo, Paul (Emily) Adams, James Sako, the late Marie Sako and Joey Sako; dear great uncle of Timothy, Rory, Ethan, Will, Sidney, J.J., Joey, and Lilly. Retired from Illinois Central Railroad and Canadian National Railroad. Darryl was an avid Chicago White Sox Fan. Visitation Monday, October 9, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the prayers 11:00 a.m. at Thornridge Funeral Home (Janusz Family Funeral Service) 15801 S. Cottage Grove Avenue, four blocks North of 162nd Street (Rte. 6) Dolton/South Holland. Interment St. Mary Cemetery.
