David Glenn passed away on May 20, 2016. David is the beloved husband of Marianne Glenn; loving father of Amy (Bill) Burke and Katherine (John) Conley; much loved brother of Marilyn (Mike) Szum, Michael (+Rita) Glenn, and +Patrick (Cheryl) Glenn; adored son of +Paul and +Alice Glenn; dearly loved brother-in-law of Savka (+Dragi) Mladenovich; and fond godfather and uncle of many nieces and nephews. A talented musician, David started his own band in his youth and composed his own music. After graduating with a business degree, he ran his own successful sporting goods business, helped support numerous little leagues, and served his country in the United States National Guard. David enjoyed being with his family and friends, reading, singing, and sporting events. He was also a member of the St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church. The visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, between 4:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M., at the Thornridge Funeral Home, 14318 S. LaGrange Road, in Orland Park, Illinois. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016, at the St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church, 1500 186th Street, in Lansing, Illinois, with the Very Reverend Dr. Milos Vesin officiating. At the Church, he will lie in state from 8:00 A.M. until the time of the service from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow upon arrival at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Monastery and Cemetery, 32377 IL-21, in Libertyville, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church.
