Edward J. Hennessy, age 87, late of Oak Forest. Beloved husband of the late Shirley M. nee Miller. Loving father of Maureen (Billy) Talley, Michael E. (Diane) Hennessy, Edward J. (Terrie) Hennessy, Richard J. (Gina) Hennessy and Kathleen Hennessy; proud grandfather of 14, and great-grandfather of 12; dear brother of John (Laura) Hennessy, the late Maura (Johnny) Judge, Ann (Dennis) Dullard and Tess (late Paddy) Hogan. Kind uncle of many nieces and nephews. Native of County Kilkenny. Honorably served in the Royal Air Force during WWII. Retired from CTA with many years of dedicated service. Funeral Saturday, 9:15 a.m. from the Brady-Gill Funeral Home, 16600 S. Oak Park Ave., Tinley Park to St. Damian Church Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
