Florence U. Plitt (née Augustin), age 100, late of Palos Park, formerly of Oak Lawn. Beloved wife of the late Edward Kasper and David Plitt; devoted mother of Donald (Julie) Kasper, Kenneth (Holly) Kasper, and the late Gerald (Renee) Kasper; stepmother of David (Pat) Plitt, Steve (Marcia) Plitt, and the late Sara (Alan) Bergren; proud grandmother of 14; dear great-grandmother of many.

Florence was a longtime waitress at the Martinique in Evergreen Park. She loved a good party! She always prepared weeks in advance all of the holiday get togethers she hosted. Florence loved people and enjoyed and encouraged family and friends to stop by "whenever." She looked forward to spending time at her son's house in Michigan, playing the slots, and shopping. Ma, grandma, Flo-Flo, and G-ma will be missed by many.

Visitation Thursday, from 8:30 AM until the time of Funeral at 10:15 AM, from Thornridge Funeral Home (Janusz Family Funeral Service) 14318 S. La Grange Road (Northbound traffic: U-turn permitted at 143rd Street) Orland Park, to Our Lady of the Woods Mass, 11:00 AM. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
