Florinda V. Mangahis nee Velarde, age 78, late of South Holland. Loving wife of Rolando Mangahis for 54 years. Beloved Nanay of Cynthia M. (Chris) Friis and Roland Mangahis. Proud LoLa of Kelsey Grace and Christopher Alan Friis, Jr. Dear sister, Tita, Ninang and friend of many. Florinda was a registered nurse, retired from Trinity Hospital with over 35 years of dedicated service. She was an amazing cook, loved gambling, traveling, and laughing. Florinda was the kindest, most generous person, devoting her life to helping and loving others with everything she had. She was wise beyond her years and will be missed by all who knew her.
