Gerald J. Zenawick, age 83, formerly of Orland Park.  Beloved husband of the late Constance M. "Connie" Zenawick (née Barilla); devoted father of Kim (Ron) Vales; adoring grandfather of Matthew (Emilee) and Jake Vales; cherished great-grandfather of Giada, Joelle and Lola; loving brother of Ruth (Bob) Byrnes, the late Robert (late Betty) Zenawick, Dorothy (Rich) Olund, Eugene (late Geraldine) Zenawick, and Rita (late Jack) Brannigan; dear brother-in-law of Nancy (Jerry) Pustay; kind uncle and cousin of many. He loved his son-in-law's extended family, Dorothy Rocca, Cindy Vales, and Sue Urso-Raber and her family. Jerry was a man with true resilience! He pushed through life and made the best out of an unfortunate situation.  Making friends wherever he lived, he was also always the fan favorite making everyone laugh.  He loved working outdoors and made sure wherever he was living was weed free! Visits from his grandchildren and great grandchildren always brightened his day.
