Gerard A. Dewitt, age 92, U.S. Army World War II Veteran, late of Riverdale. Beloved husband for 65 1/2 years of the late Betty (née Proper); loving father of DeeAnn (Henry) Flynn, Elizabeth "Beth" (Randall) Foulkes, and Gerard "Kevin" (Treva) DeWitt; proud grandfather of Ashley (fiancé Brad Kauffman) Dewitt, Jessica Foulkes, Jimmy Foulkes, and Jennifer Flynn, and great-grandfather of A very, Kyle, Skyler, Hunter, Isabella, and 6 others . Gerard was quite a craftsman, who loved to build doll houses, clocks, and miniature ships. He enjoyed classical music, as well as Lawrence Welk and Mitch Miller.
