James L. Spindler 79 , of New Lenox, passed away on Mon day, April 1 , 2021. James was born in Harvey, Il. to the late Laurence and Wanda (nee Gavin ) Spindler . Beloved husband of Geraldine (nee Gerez ); loving father of James Spindler, Ann (Michael) Rubin , and Amy Spindler ; prou d grandfather of Jadeah, Justin, Hallie, and Hannah ; loving brother of John (late Grace) Spindler; dear brother- in-law of Patricia Roberts, Nancy Stonerock, Laurie Braley, and the late Chesterine Vasilopulos ; kind uncle of many nieces and nephews; and a loving father figure to many. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox on Mon day, April 5 , 2021 from 3 pm – 8 pm. Funeral on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:30 AM leaving for St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Private .
