Janet "Jan" Schoenig (née DeVries), age 80, late of Hometown. Beloved wife of Richard; devoted mother of Rich, William (Stacy), and Gerrit (Tara); proud grandmother of Katie Rowland, Anna Schoenig, Olivia Schoenig, and Ronald Schoenig; loving sister of Frank (Anne) DeVries, Gerrit (Jeannette) DeVries, Frances (late Adrian) Tubbs, the late John DeVries, Theresa Schuringa, Chester DeVries, James DeVries, and Andrew DeVries; kind aunt to many nieces and nephews. Jan was retired from Panduit with over 25 years of dedicated service. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Visitation Thursday, April 23, 2026 from 3:00 - 8:00 PM. Funeral Service Friday, April 24, 2026 at 9:00 AM, at Thornridge Funeral Home (Janusz Family Funeral Service) 14318 S. LaGrange Road (Northbound traffic: U-turn permitted at 143rd St.) Orland Park.

Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
