John H. Horn, Sr., age 83, Veteran U.S. Army Korean War, late of South Holland, passed away March 18, 2013 at his home. Beloved husband of Arlene nee Steinbach. Loving father of Susan (Jeffery) Jachna, John Jr. (Juliane), James (Cathy Jo), Joseph (Katherine) and Jerome (Thresa) Horn. Proud grandfather of Joshua (Elizabeth), Julia, Jonathan, Kyle, Alexander, Juliette, Jorie, Kristina, Nicholas, Joseph, Noah and Sophia and great-grandfather of Jalene, McKenzie and Annabelle. Dear brother of Sr. Mary Herman, O.P., Anna Kreske, Robert (Joyce), William (Maureen), Charles (Mary) and Joseph "Superman" Horn. Fond brother-in-law of Phillip Steinbach. Uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Visitation Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral at 11:00 a.m. at Thornridge Funeral Home (Janusz Family Funeral Service), 15801 S.
