In Loving Memory of Karen Ann Olszewski.

Karen Ann Olszewski, a beloved member of the Hammond, IN community, passed away on August 6, 2024, at the age of 57. Those fortunate enough to have known her recall her as a kind, funny, and down-to-earth individual whose unconditional love and unwavering support knew no bounds.

Karen's passion for music was evident to all who knew her, and her talent was recognized when she played a solo in a music video, leaving a lasting mark on those who heard her play. Additionally, her love for the New Orleans Saints and her three adored fur babies, Riley, Oliver, and Spencer, brought her immense joy and comfort.

She was the loving daughter of the late Reginald and Donna (Nee Miller) Olszewski, dear sister of Susan (Brian) Payne, Thomas Olszewski, and the late Linda (Michael) Seabrook, and a cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Visitation to honor Karen's life will be held on September 1, 2024, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Thornridge Funeral Home (Janusz Family Funeral Service) 15801 S. Cottage Grove Ave., (four blocks North of 162nd St. / Rt. 6) Dolton / South Holland.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Humane Indiana in honor of Karen's love for animals.

Karen will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
