Kay C. Boersma (née Johnson), age 72, late of Chicago. Devoted mother of Kimberly A. (Luke) Kulpa, and Scott (Dawn) Boersma; proud grandmother of 8; dear great grandmother of 5; loving sister of Darlene Hammon, Marie Hazlett, Terry Johnson, Gene Johnson, Tony Johnson, the late Lynda Green, and Kenny Johnson; kind aunt of many nieces and nephews. Kay was a talented floral designer for many years, mostly recently at Hillside Florist in Mount Greenwood. Visitation Tuesday, from 10 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service 1:00 p.m. at Thornridge Funeral Home (Janusz Family Funeral Service) 15801 S. Cottage Grove Ave., four blocks North of 162nd (Rte. 6), Dolton / South Holland. Interment Oakland Memory Lanes.
