Lorraine Catherine Gregor, 97, (Mrs. Raymond F.) of Chicago and Palos Park passed away peacefully on September 11, 2017. Lorrie and Ray were married in 1941, just before he shipped out with the U.S. Navy. It was in the late 1960's that Ray and Lori started Fernwood Printers, a true labor of love, employing all the kids and many of the grandchildren. They were the most loving and devoted couple. Their 67 year marriage was a love affair for the ages, with never an argument. They enjoyed every aspect of life together, from raising the children to traveling the world with their many friends. Lorrie was the loving mother of Thomas (Marie), Garrett, Daniel, Sandra (Mark) Boselo and Maribeth. She enjoyed each of her 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Visitation Friday, 4 - 8 p.m. at Thornridge Funeral Home (Janusz Family Funeral Service), 14318 S. LaGrange Rd. (Northbound traffic: U-turn permitted at 143rd St.), Orland Park. Lying-in-state Saturday, 9 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Woods Church, 10731 W. 131st St., Orland Park.
