Margaret M. "Peggy" Ellis nee Rohwedder, age 68, late of Thornton formerly of South Holland. Beloved wife of Ray Ellis; devoted mother of Brenda (Greg) Irvin and Alison (John) Hendricks; dear step-mother of Ray Ellis Jr., Michael (Beth) Ellis and Mary (Dan) Dykshorn; proud grandmother of Alex, Tyler, Tristen, Norah, Austin, Dana, Nolan, and Colin; loving sister of Char, Judy (Larry), Lloyd (Chris) and Jennifer (John). Retired L.P.N. with 35 years of dedicated service. President of Thornton Library Board, and President of the Book Club. A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, May 20th from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. at the Thornton Village Hall, 115 E. Margaret St., Thornton, IL. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Thornton Public Library.
