Mark Nosich, age 87, Veteran U.S. Marine Corp WWII, late of Dolton formerly of South Chicago, passed away June 14, 2013 at Rush University Medical Center. Loving son of the late Anton Nosich and Mary Matijevich. Dear brother of the late Anthony Nosich, John Madden, Peter Matijevich and Violet Halberstadt. Beloved uncle of Mark Nosich, Gerard Halberstadt, Mary Gibson, David Halberstadt, Lynn Gambrel, the late Antoinette Nosich, Jane Halberstadt and Michael Halberstadt. Kind great-uncle to numerous nieces and nephews and one great-great niece. Mark lived a long life the way he wanted, with audacity and humor. He was a veteran of WWII and served his country proudly. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at St. Jude the Apostle Church located at 900 E. 154th St. in South Holland at 11:00 a.m. Private Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
