Mary Ethel Steger, age 86, late of Lansing. Beloved daughter of the late George Sr. and Matilda nee Keifer. Dear sister of Michael and the late George and Clara. Proud aunt of many nieces and nephews. Mary was a graduate of The University of Chicago. She was a dedicated Guidance Counselor and Teacher in the South Suburbs of Chicago. Mary was loved by all who knew her. Lying-in-state Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. directly at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 880 E. 154th St., South Holland.
