Mildred "Mitzie" Merich Latkovich Gousetis, age 90, late of Chicago. Born in Chicago and raised in Green Bay, Mitzie was a life long Packer fan and avid pinocle player. Beloved wife of the late Robert Latkovich and Chris Gousetis. Loving mother of Pamela (Keith) Collins, Denise McDonald and Dawn Latkovich. Proud Yia Yia of Jason, James, Joseph, Jeremy, Nicholas and Alexandra. Dear sister of Emily Sertich, Sophia Pavich and the late Milan Merich. She was a beloved aunt to numerous nieces and nephews who, though scattered around the country, all stayed in touch and loved visits with her whenever possible. Mitzie owned and operated Mitzies Snack Shop at the Dolton Bowl. She was a longtime member of the Church Circle of Serbian Sisters and the Eastern Star. Mitzie is remembered by her family and friends for her warm heart and loving spirit. Lying-in-state Saturday, 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church, 1500 186th St., Lansing. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
