Miranda "Moo" DeYoung age 24, late of Lizton, IN formerly of Calumet City and South Holland. Beloved daughter of Denielle Robinson and Paul (Nicole) DeYoung. Loving sister of Ryan DeYoung and extended sibling Ben. Cherished granddaughter of Elizabeth "Betty" and the late Duke Nalon and the late Donald and Corrine DeYoung. Dear niece of Dennis (Julie) Nalon, Deanna (Anthony) Knighten and Laura (Steve) DeYoung. Wonderful cousin of Alex Nalon, Andy (Stefanie) DeYoung, Matthew (Britney) DeYoung and Joshua DeYoung. Miranda also leaves behind her faithful companion, Snookie as well as her extended family of doctors and nurses from the University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital, that have cared for her over the past twenty years and forty five surgeries she endured with her ever present smile and sassy attitude. Miranda was a member of many Chiari One Malformation groups, she was supportive of her fellow members, always helpful and wise beyond her years. She enjoyed fishing and going to the race track to watch her cousin Alex race. She was best known for her love of cows, butterflies and her favorite colors purple and blue. She never complained and was admired for her "little spitfire" personality. Memorial Visitation Saturday, July 20th from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m. at Thornridge Funeral Home (Janusz Family Funeral Service) 14318 S. LaGrange Rd. (Northbound traffic: U-turn permitted at 143rd St.) Orland Park. Interment Private.
