Ralph C. Alois, age 70, late of Chicago formerly of Calumet City, Rosemoor and Grand Crossing. Beloved husband of the late Tara (nee Sheehy); father of John (Jolie); grandfather of Evan and Tara, which he adored; brother of Mary Ann (Robert) Oswald; uncle of Ann (Tim) Leyden and Robert (Brook) Oswald Jr.; great uncle of Michael and Kimberly Oswald and Rebecca, Brian and Allison Leyden. Ralph will be missed by all his relatives and friends. He was born July 16, 1946 to the late John and Josephine (nee Pecora) Alois and passed away on Friday, November 4, 2016 after a long illness. Ralph graduated from St. Francis de Paula, Mendel High School and attended St. Joseph College for 2 years. He started working at Carson Pirie Scott at the age of 16 at the Evergreen Plaza as a stock boy. He then went to Carson's in the Loop and worked in the Appliances and Furniture Department until the store closed. Recently he delivered sandwiches for Vinnie's Sub Shop in Chicago. His favorite things were spending time at the Majestic Star Casino and watching the Sox, Bears and Blackhawks.
