Richard T. Mniszewski, age 87, late of Orland Park formerly of Chicago, Frankfort and South Holland. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn M. nee Lopacki. Devoted father of Debbie (John) Hansen, Sue (Luke Bartlin) Mniszewski, Kim (Joanne) Mniszewski and Laura (Tom Krull) Mniszewski-Krull. Loving granddad of 8 and great-granddad of 1. Richard spent most of his years as a skilled printer. He and Evelyn were the former owners of Positive Printing in Highland, IN. In his spare time Richard was an avid gardener and an amazing wood carver. His love for orchids was only surpassed by the love for his family and his beloved Evelyn, who he cared for unselfishly until her last day. Richard bravely battled 4 types of cancer in the past 20 years. He is now at peace and with the love of his life. Visitation Sunday, January 17, 2016, from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 7:30 p.m. at Thornridge Funeral Home (Janusz Family Funeral Service), 14318 S. LaGrange Rd. (9600 W/Rte. 45) Orland Park. Private Interment Good Shepherd Cemetery.
