Robert G. Lant, R.N., age 88, U.S. Army Ranger Korean War Veteran, late of South Holland. Beloved husband of Mae Dawn Lant, R.N. (nee Gaoat); devoted father of Jae Lant Wright, R.N. (Eric Matthew Wright, R.N.) and Susan (Dennis) Lijter, R.N.; proud grandfather of 5, including Dylan Matthew Wright; loving brother of Josephine (Richard) Larabell; dear brother-in-law of Edith, R.N. (Francis Pol Sr.) Cabanilla; kind uncle of Sarah Jean Burgos, R.N. and Francis Pol Cabanilla, Jr. Robert loved flamenco dancing and he was an adopted son of the Chippewa Indians. Funeral Mass Wednesday,  10:30 a.m. directly at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 900 East 154th St., South Holland. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
