Robin Dawn Szaflarski (née Volpe), age 50, late of Griffith, IN. Beloved wife of the late Stan; devoted daughter of Herbert (Paula) and Linda Volpe (née Wooley); dear step-sister of Mandy (late Jerry) Van Vleck and Brianne (Brandon) Romaine; also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins. Robin was a 5th generation railroad employee with 15 years of dedicated service as a clerk for Norfolk Southern. She loved spending time crafting, and particularly enjoyed making wreaths. Memorial Service Saturday, March 4, 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 845 Strieff Lane, Glenwood, IL.
