Shirley A. Evans-Wofford (née Thomas), age 75, late of Lincoln Park. Beloved wife of the late Henry Wofford and Ray Evans; devoted mother of Janorise (Michael) Robinson and Kanika Evans; proud grandmother of Isaiah Heard, Emmanuel Robinson and Caleb Robinson; dear daughter of the late Matthew and Georgia Thomas; loving sister of Gail Wess, Brenda Thomas, Matthew Thomas Jr., Michael Thomas, Jaqueline Harris, Jeanne Thomas, Elaine Thomas, the late LaVonzell Gant, and Stanley Thomas; kind aunt of many nieces and nephews. Shirley began her 25 year career with Marsh and McLennan, and was employed with AON Brokerage Insurance Firm with many years of dedicated service. In 2001, Shirley founded Lambent Risk Management Insurance Brokerage Firm. Visitation Saturday, April 20,  from 9:00 AM until the time of Homegoing Service at 11:00 AM at Christian Life Center, Tinley Park Campus, 6363 183rd St, Tinley Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials directed to Literacy Chicago, DuSable Museum, or Alzheimer's Association.
