Steven R. Foggin, age 58, late of Dolton, native of Bristol, England. Beloved husband of Margaret R. (née Heil); devoted son of Henry and Olive Foggin (née Gapper); loving brother-in-law of Edward (Barbara) Heil; kind uncle of many nieces and nephews; also survived by his cherished husky Faith.

Steven came to Chicago from London, England, by way of the Faroe Islands. Since the age of 13, he studied music and was a classically trained trumpeter, percussionist, and singer. During his 10 years of service in the British Army, as a musician in the Scots Guards, he travelled to over 40 countries and enjoyed playing in many of the world's concert halls and sports stadiums. Steven also played with 3 brass bands while here in the Chicago area: Chicago Brass Band, Illinois Brass Band, and the Milwaukee Festival Brass Band.

Memorial Visitation Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Memorial Service at 4:00 p.m., at Thornridge Funeral Home (Janusz Family Funeral Service), 15801 S. Cottage Grove Ave. (four blocks north of 162nd St., Rte 6), Dolton / South Holland. Interment private.
