Terry's Funeral Mass will be livestreamed at 10:00 AM, January 6, 2025

Dr. Terrence M. Wall, 77, peacefully passed away on December 31, 2024. Papa T, as he was fondly known by his 21 grandchildren, was a proud Catholic, husband to Marilouise (Wees) for 53 years, father of seven children, and U.S.A.F. Veteran. As an oral maxillofacial surgeon who practiced in Palos Heights, IL, he worked at Christ Hospital, Little Company of Mary, and Palos Hospital.

Terry was the son of Dr. Frank and Holly (Murphy) Wall, whom he deeply loved and respected. He matriculated undergraduate school at Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH, and graduated from Loyola University School of Dentistry. It was then that he met Wees, and they married while he was in dental school. After his graduation, they moved to Taiwan, where he served as a Captain and base dental surgeon in the United States Air Force.  After serving two years, they moved to Miami, FL, where he studied oral maxillofacial surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Upon completing his residency, Terry, Wees and their growing family moved to Wales U.K. for more surgical training. With four children in tow, he and Wees returned to Chicago where they went on to have three more children.

His first friends and closest confidants were his seven siblings, who helped form him into the wonderful man he became. He spoke joyfully about his friends from Kennedy Park, and the South Side of Chicago, and around the world. He cherished those memories with his lifelong friends.

During college, dental school, residency, military service, training, career, and raising his children, he met and befriended many wonderful people who, undoubtedly, shaped his character but also his and Wees' experiences and adventures throughout their magnificent years together.

Terry Wall is survived by his loving wife, Marilouise (Wees), and children: Frank (Beth) Wall, Katie Sperry, Terry (Holly) Wall, Cassidy Wall, Jon (Lauren) Wall, Sean (Lindsey) Wall, and Lauren (Omar) Vasquez, and their amazing 21 grandchildren,  Reese, Julia, Avery, Ben, Matthew, Trey, Mary, Tommy, Tucker, Margaux, Ty, Tate, Toby, Keira, Emma, Gracie, Reed, Georgia, Walker, Camille, and Connor. Brothers and sisters: the late JoAnn and Bill Ruff, the late Mary Helen and Larry Connolly, the late Betty Jane and Jim O'Toole, Larry and Kathy Wall, the late Frank Wall, Ginny and Mike Raftery, and John "Murph" and the late Caryl Wall.

Brother and Sister-in-Laws: Roselle (Dennis) Postregna, the late Philip Dixon (Mary), Claudia and Rick Combs, Mark Dixon, the late Gregory Dixon (Kathy), Patrick Dixon (Karen) and Monica (Joe) Boyer.

Terry's wisdom, guidance, and humor will forever remain in the hearts and minds of all who knew him. His faith was his cornerstone, and he taught us that if we stay close to God, God will stay close to us.
