Thomas C. Ruvoli Sr., age 81, late of Calumet City. Beloved husband of Joanne (née Curatolo); devoted father of Tom Jr. (Laura), JoEllen Ruvoli, Ron (Tracy) Ruvoli, the late JoAnne (Henry Gruba) Ruvoli; proud grandfather of Gina (Ryan) Slattery, Julie (Jake) Rudnik, Alyssa (Zach Rankin) Ruvoli , Emily Ruvoli, and Robyn Ruvoli; loving great-grandfather of Franklin Rudnik; dear brother of the late Salvatore (late Ruth) Ruvoli, Frank (late Evelyn) Ruvoli, Mary Ellen (late Frank) Stanek, Dolores (late Jay) DeBartolo, and Robert Ruvoli; fond brother-in-law of Lenora (Marty) Ramian; kind uncle and great-uncle of many nieces and nephews. Thomas was a retired Calumet City Pump Station Engineer with over 20 years of service. He was a practicing usher at St. Jude the Apostle Church, and active parishioner for many years.
Visitation Thursday, from 3:00 - 8:00 PM. Funeral Friday, 11:45 AM, from Thornridge Funeral Home (Janusz Family Funeral Service), 15801 S. Cottage Grove Ave., (four blocks North of 162nd St. / Rt. 6) Dolton / South Holland to Christ Our Savior Church Mass 12:30 PM. Entombment Holy Cross Mausoleum.
Thomas' family would like to sincerely thank the nursing staff of Hartsfield Village of Munster, IN for everything they've done for Tom for the past three years.
