Victor B. Kapercev, 75, U.S. Army Vietnam War Veteran. Victor was husband and best friend to his late wife Darlene M. Kapercev nee Putnam, thru 47 years of marriage. Survived by their cherished and loving daughter Janice and her husband Steven Pinkos of Orland Park. Loving grandfather to their three children Kevin (Kate), Brittany (Sean McGrath) and Alyssa Pinkos. Proud great grandfather of Makenna, whom he adored. Also survived extended family Annette and Danny and their three children. Victor was a veteran of the Vietnam era war, in which he served with honor as part of the 1st Battalion 7th Cavalry US Army. He stay active with lifelong army buddies thru their yearly reunions and phone contact. Victor was luck to hold all of his friendships in the highest regard, which then became his extended family. He chose to maintain his close ties made thru his grade school days, his church, the boy scout troops, and his high school life up to the day of his death. Also, he kept his friends close from the different work places, staying in touch with them on a routine basis for over forty years. This also was a joyful pursuit for him until his death. He also loved all of his wonderful dogs that he had throughout his life. Victor was able to fulfill his lifelong dream of living out his final years at Gravel Lake. He will be missed by all who were privileged to meet and know him including life long friends.
