Violet M. Bican nee Drobac, age 91, late of Palos Park. Beloved wife of the late Frank Bican; devoted mother of Cheryl Bican; loving sister of the late Rose Marie Drobac, Robert Drobac Jr., and Sophie Ashley; dear aunt of Sandra (Mike) Wragg, and the Chatham children for who(m) she always held (a special place) in her heart; kind great aunt of Mike (Becki) Wragg; cherished great great aunt of Nora, Gwyneth, and Maisie.

Vi loved exploring everything outdoors in Chicago and the suburbs!   She was always excited to find new or revisit delicious restaurants.   She found peace and solace anywhere near water, whether beachside but especially taking boat rides at Navy Pier and seeing Buckingham Fountain!   It brought her such joy to walk downtown, picnic and enjoy it all with her beloved friends and family!

Visitation Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral 10:30 a.m. from Thornridge Funeral Home (Janusz Family Funeral Service), 14318 S. LaGrange Rd., (Northbound traffic, U-turn permitted at 143rd St.), Orland Park to St. Michael Church Mass 11:00 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
