Violet was born on June 22, 1927 to the proud parents Charles and Mary Baranyai. She peacefully passed away on January 30, 2016 at 3:40 a.m. She was married to Edward R. Stanley on June 5, 1954 until his passing on November 25, 1999. Violet had two children Karen Saylor and Bruce Stanley. She had two grandchildren Chase (Kristin) and Rachel. She lived in Calumet Park, IL for thirty years and most recently South Holland, IL for thirty-two years. Violet was an avid traveler with her son and visited forty-eight states. She was a beautiful person inside and out and will live in our hearts forever. She was the proud sister of Irene Brewer, Jean Wright, Laurie Szymkowski, the late Charles and Victor Baranyai. Fond aunt and friend to many. Visitation Wednesday 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service Thursday 11:00 a.m. at THORNRIDGE FUNERAL HOME (Janusz Family Funeral Service), 15801 S. Cottage Grove Ave., four blocks North of 162nd St. (Rte. 6) Dolton/South Holland. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
