Dorans, age 87, US Navy Veteran, late of Orland Park. Adoring husband for 65 years of his bride Elaine (née Hughes); devoted father of Edward (Marie) Dorans, Susan (John) Liss, Richard (Patti) Dorans, Jean Dorans, Thomas (Debbie) Dorans, and James (Julie) Dorans; proud grandfather of Todd (Reny) Dorans, Amanda (Jim) Boehmer, Ryan (Kylie), Billy (Olivia), Jack Liss, Molly, Danielle, Taylor, Shannon, Brandon, and Rhett Dorans; dear great-grandfather of Lennon, Holden, Harper, and Stevie; loving brother of the late Margaret "Pat" Dorans, and Colleen Dorans.

Retired electrician with IBEW #701. Bill was an avid Cubs fan, Dolton Riverdale Little League Coach, and enjoyed his winters at Spring Run Golf Club in Estero, Florida.

Visitation Friday from 3 - 8 PM. Funeral Satuday, 9:00 AM, from Thornridge Funeral Home (Janusz Family Funeral Service), 14318 S. LaGrange Rd. (Northbound traffic: U-turn permitted at 143rd St.) to St. Mary Mokena Mass 10:00 AM. Interment Good Shepherd Cemetery.
