William T. Hampton has faithfully served Jehovah for 38 years until his life was abruptly cut short by a cardiac arrest on Monday, February 17, 2020. He fell asleep in death on a sofa at home.

He was preceded in death by his father and two siblings. He leaves behind his beloved wife Linda, his mother Lillie, a daughter Nekeia, by a previous marriage, and one granddaughter Kendall.

He also leaves behind five brothers, Dwight, Dennis, Ernest, Quentin, and Elliott, along with uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, and nieces.

William loved the outdoors, where he could enjoy Jehovah's creation. He enjoyed bird watching, scuba diving, swimming, camping, and most of all golf. He was thrilled to observe the golf ball soar high above the ground, and track both its speed and distance. But most of all he enjoyed the warm association of the Christian Congregation. William was truly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
